Function # 2.1 : Exam Questions - Adding questions
This chapter will primarily focus on the Tutors role. The Tutor is able to add, edit and delete exam questions. In addition to the Tutor, the Super Administrator is also able to manipulate exam related contents.
In order to enter exam questions and other relevant details, the user must first login in as a tutor using the password given by the Super Administrator.
The word 'Tutor' has been used in this chapter as this is primarily a function of the Tutor. But since the Super administrator is also able to manipulate exam related contents, he would first have to login using the 'Admin' user name and password and follow the below mentioned steps.
Adding exam questions:
#1. Select an exam type from the tree menu from the left side of the page.
Note: The questions can be entered in any order as desired.
#2. Select the desired course name and subject from the drop down menus on the top of the page and click 'Search'.
#3. Click on the 'Add' button in the subsequent page to add questions.
#4. Enter in the question and the relevant answers and click the 'Save' button.
Note: The 'Explanation' field is to explain the correct answer. After entering the answers, tick the check box below to indicate the correct answer. There can be one or more answers as required.
#5. To upload an image to the question, click on the 'Browse' button.
Note: To delete an image, click on the 'Delete Image' button and then click 'Save' to make the changes permanent.
#6. Select the desired image, from the pop up window and click 'Open'.
#7. After opening the relevant image, click on the 'Save' button to make the changes permanent.
Special Notes: The uploaded image can be viewed by the Tutor by clicking the 'Edit' (  ) button for that particular question. The Image will be displayed below.
To add questions to the Tutorials, Modules and for IQ questions, follow these same steps. To add Tutorial and Module questions select the relevant course, subject and the corresponding tutorials and modules from the drop down lists and click the 'Search' button.
